How much wood is in a crate?
A standard crate holds about 3 cubic feet of split hardwood, and a large crate holds about 6. Each listing shows the loose volume so you can compare crates and pallets fairly.
What does kiln-dried mean?
The wood is dried in a heated chamber until it is under 20% moisture. Dry wood lights faster, gives more heat and makes far less smoke than wood cut recently.

Can I use it in a wood stove, fire pit or pizza oven?
Yes. Kiln-dried hardwood suits stoves, fireplaces, fire pits and pizza ovens.
How should I store it?
Keep the crate somewhere dry and off the ground, with air able to reach the wood. A garage, shed or covered porch works well. Avoid wrapping it tightly in plastic.
